USC or USA 39001?????

I went to get my ps2's today and I am a little confused ......probably for no reason...... Everyone I saw had the following number on the box... USC SCPH 39001.

Is this a V7?? Only reason I am unsure is because I was looking to see USA SCPH 39001......Are they the same..... I want to buy these and ship them out to Bill tomorrow and I already bought some chips from our pal Charlie_ps2..... Any insight is helpful....
Buying them at Sam Goody so I can get triple points....Maybe pick up something for the misses..... It's the least I could do after spending a boatload of cash on toys......hehe

Oh......I think I got this straight......All I have for my burner to burn on are a couple of -RW's...... I did the Recordnow tutorial first with Tony Hawk 4 and it looked like it was fine..Then I erased it and tried with Gran Turismo 3......I had to Turn on Auto-Notification or it would say it was still mounting......It burned the image fine...Actually it made three gi files......2.00 gigs......1.61 gigs.... and about 4K for the last file......When I went to burn it had some kind of error.......I was thinking maybe it was the RW.....

Hopefully I will getting some verbatims, riteks, and princos soon....

Anyway.....Thanx for listening....Later all

If its got SCPH-39001 it's a v7. Don't worry about the other numbers. When you had the 3 .gi files, which did you burn? You are supposed to burn the small .gi file. This should be the only one without a number at the end of the file name.

When you say the small one...........You mean the really small file size like......4k.... Thanx for the info on the v7...I will be picking them tomorrow.......... I guess when I start backing up some of my stuff I should check the groups first.......Is there a Sticky on games that have special burning instructions or can you burn all games using RecordnowMax.....I assume whichever you use is just a preference of the user......But perhaps not.......

Thanx

Yes you burn the 4k file. All games will burn properly if you follow the tutorials. There are no special settings for certain games. RecordNow Max is an excellent software choice for backing up PS2 dvd games.
