What CD protection does Splinter Cell for the PC use???

I just bought my shiny, new copy of Splinter Cell for the PC from EB!

I don't have time to play right now, but after work, I'm gonna play all night!!

Anyways, sorry for the bragging.

Well, does anyone know the CD protection scheme used for this game?? My copy of ClonyXXl doesn't work.
