Tales Of Destiny 2 can never boot on PS2?

Hi there,

I was trying to get a copy of Tales Of Destiny 2 and patch it, so I can play it on my Australian PS2 (neo2.2)

However, I read two posts that AO3 stats TOD2 can never be boot on PS2. Therefore I want to comfirm that...

Is there anyone who have tried booting a backup of TOD2 and succeed?

well.... if no one has had succefully booting a TOD2 backup, then guess I have to get a chipped psx console for it... er.......
