XBL with a router?
I'm taking a trip back to Oregon on monday, and my buddy Rob has XBL. While I was there last time I set up a linksys router to share the cable internet on all his computers. I called to tell him I would be in town, and he said XBL wouldnt work while his XBox was plugged into the switch witch is pluged into the router.
So what I need to know is, does any one know what ports need to be open to allow XBL to still work behind a router? Thnkas rms2001

Hmm.. I'm pretty sure that XBL actually tracks your Xbox MAC address so when you try to go Live its looking at your router's MAC instead. Most routers have a feature that will forward an address other than their own usually called ghosting or cloning or such that would fix this. I would think thats more likely than wrong or closed port but I dont use Live.
