looks like we have a new version of safedisc http://www.cdfreaks.com/news2.php3?ID=5637. Does anyone know if it will be possible to make a 1.1 backup now that they are using physical parameters like securom new?

there is still no game out using this protection...
i´m sure it won´t take long for the release groups to crack this protection and release nocd cracks.
and the development of alcohol 120% also continues,
no worry about that

1:1 backups will become more difficult,
but you always can use a nocd crack.

When im trying to load a game it says unload the debugger i need the tool to bypass the sice detection which i cannot find anywhere.Frogice does not work on XP.

yes, frogsice don´t work on winxp.
you need win 98.

The link to safedisc cleaner 1.20 in your tutorials area is dead.

Any alternative way to get it? I need something capable of allowing me to backup f12002 which has safedisc 2.60.052

bit of bad luck m8.. igi 2 update has it, and during the cdcheck the system is scanned for alcohol, daemon and other virtual cddrive programs, if ANY are found, the cdcheck will fail.. regardless of whether or not the cdrom is original..

i tried it with my original igi2, and had alcohol installed, cdcheck failed.. yet when i uninstalled alcohol, the cdcheck passed.. so basically if you want to run any sd 2.90.40 originals at all you MUST uninstall alcohol, daemon etc.. before the game will get past the safedisc cdcheck.. guess you'll all have to wait till alcohol and daemon get updated to get around this blacklisting, but until then it doesnt look good.

well alcohol emulates regardless of whether the virtual drive is enabled or not. what does the new safedisc do if clonecd is installed with its virtual drive :?

if you have the original cd in the drive .. and just have daemon / alcohol installed (this is for 2.90.40) the cdcheck will fail, if you uninstall daemon / alcohol then the cdcheck will pass.. so basically if u got the original and want to play a 2.90.40 game you MUST uninstall daemon / alcohol as the cdcheck in 2.90.40 will fail if daemon or alcohol or any other virtual proggie on their list is detected... and alcohol didnt work on the clone of igi 2.. nor did daemon.... didnt know clonecd had a virtual drive.. at a guess i'd say it would fail the cdcheck too.. i aint gonna install clonecd to find out tho,
