LG 52x24x52 - SafeDisk2??
I'm thinking on buying a CD-Writer LG GCE-8520B 52x24x52x, internal, EIDE, and I'd like to know if this driver writes regular bit patterns correctly. (It can copy SafeDisk2 protection).
I've looked for this information in CloneCD web page, but this driver is not included in their tables. Could anyone provide me this information?? Thank you for your help!!!

Not sure if this helps but i recently bought the LG GCE-8480B 48x16x48. I'm having lots of trouble copying the Sims:unleashed and have posted my problem on the PCGames forum on this site. A reply to this told me if I was serious about 'burning' to get Lite On burner and use Alcohol 120.
I've been trying to copy this game using CloneCD along with Clonyxxl which recognises the game as having SafeDisc2 and is supposed to enter the correct settings. But as i said, it hasn't managed it yet!! Hope this helps a little

I have a Lite-On 52x24x52.I'm using Alcohol 120% and haven't had a problem creating copies of MOHAA,Spearhead,MechWarrior4_BlackKnight or NASCAR 2002.
I find that Alcohol 120% is easier to use than Clone CD.It's only my opinion so give it a try.

got it to work...
....used Alcohol 120% with my LG and managed to copy sims unleashed first time, clonecd made about ten coasters attempting to copy it....

Unleashed
hi i hope you can help.Im trying to backup Unleased & have used Alcohol 120% as suggested.Used Image maker & chose Datatype SafeDisc 2.Then ticked Skip Read Errors & also Fast Skip but left Read Sub Channel.Then wrote using Image burner.It all seemed to work ok but then it wont load just crashes on xp.Any ideas !
