dvds backups
yes if i copy dvds useing dvdxcopy and then put lables of the movives on them will they still play in a ps2

Be VERY CAREFUL about applying labels........
They can SCREW UP a perfectly good disc....... Unless you can assure that you can get them EXACTLY centered, DO NOT LABEL THEM...... Labels can cause the disc to become un-balanced and make it very hard for the PS2 (or stand alone dvd) to read..... I would suggest NOT labeling.......

i got a label maker
i can put it on useing lable maker it puts then on perfect im not sure about balance though all my cdrom base cds with lables work just fine

just 1 more ? i wonder about
not sure if this idea works but can u make a dvd-r full of wav files and play them on a ps2 as a music cd. im thinking the ps2 only picks up music thats on cdrom based cds
