Bf1942 Media Not Present.

Ok, I've tried to make a ISO of BF1942 and run it on Daemon, however, halfway thru installation it gives me an error message about how there is a certain aspect of media not present. Can anyone elaborate to what this means and provide possible solutions?

EDIT: Ok, i know i should've done a more thorough search. I've got Daemon v3.26 but it still doesn't work. the exact message is:
'Specified component cannot be found in the media. An attempt was made to access a component that does not exist in the normal mode'. I'm gonna try clonecd, see if it works

EDIT2: Hmmm, i've just installed Clonecd, and it seems to work on disc 1. HOWEVER, now i get the same prob with disc 2. Any ideas?

All I can say is that it works for me. I used Clonecd 4.0.1.6 to make the image, and mounted it using Daemon Tools 3.29. It sounds a bit like the image you made is not exact enough. If CloneCD gives you the same trouble, try using the "game cd" profile and edit that profile to set the read speed very low (1x-4x), perhaps your original is getting damaged ? If you do this, remember to use the fast error dump trick in VLUka's faq, it will save you a LOT of time with safedisc 2.

Hmm, thanks rincewind. Maybe it is my disc 2 which is stuffing up a bit. Gonna get 3.29 of Daemon, see if that works. The funny thing is that disc 1 works with Clonecd, but not daemon, while every1 else reports that it is vice versa.

EDIT: Hmm, 3.29 Daemon seems to get a tad further on my Disc 2, but still no go. ANy other solutions anybody?

If installation fails from Daemon Tools virtual drive(s) the image is damaged! Re-create it from your original cds. Try lower read speeds if your original is somehow damaged.
