dude
this appears to be a common problem with this game, i have a matrix mod chip and this is the only game out of 33 backups i made which gives me problems, there was talk on another forum that this game has some experimental anti mod software in it. how true this is i don't know probably just rumours.
but in my experiance i have tried this game including the original 4 different systems with different mods and a further 4 virgin xbox's.
all the moded xbox's skip during the intro sections but play perfect on the virgin xbox's, however i only tried 1 original copy and a backup made from this to test these machines, and it is possible that it may be a fault with my copy, have to do more tests to check it out

later dude

So your prob was it was a NTSC game running on your PAL XBox correct? Wonder if I would have the same prob if I ran a PAL game on my NTSC system. Seeing how I'm in the USA its kinda hard for me to get my hands on PAL games. Maybe I'll pick one up on my next trip to England. Make a back up of it, and see what happens.

By the way, what do XBox games cost there? They are $50 here.

Well any way, good to see you got your prob fixed.
