Non Mod Boot Options
I have done a lot of searching on the web, but most of the resources that i have found are unreliable and outdated, so i figured I would ask here: What non mod-chip booting methods do you use?
(Alucard won't get his powers back until I find out...)

There's the Swap method.
I don't personally do it bcause i've got a MOD chip which is reliable and easier. Swap method is a hassle and im not sure you can even do it on new games. Just get a MOD chip and save yourself the headache.

I use the PS-X-Change2 boot disk or and Mini-gold finger. Both work the same and require the lid sensor to be pressed down at all times.
Using the Goldfinger (gameshark type device) the FMV scene can be choppy but game play is fine. |

all i am concerned with is reliability...those two discs work well everytime??
Also...are those commercial releases or shareware (i.e. Utopia's Dreamcast Bootdisc)?

I'm not sure about the PS-X-change disk but when using the mini-goldfinger with two disc games you simple left the spring, swap the disk, put the spring back and away you go.
