Another Media Question
Ive read a bunch of posts about getting quality media- ive heard riteks were good in the us- i have 2 questions-
1. for playstation 2 backups- does the speed matter when purchasing good quality media- will a playstation game burn better on a 4x dvd instead of a 2x- 2. i also want to burn dvd movies- again, is the quality of the media as important as playstation, and is the speed ie. 2x, 4x determinative of the quality- i was assuming the 2x or 4x just determined the burn speed, and not the quality of the media- im new so i get a little confused when reading some posts- thanx- chris |

If using good quality media, the burn speed doesn't affect the burn quality.

Does the media quality matter with applications other than playstation games such as burning dvd movies?? will a dvd player still have trouble identifying lower quality media like the playstation??

Some are picky some aren't. Depends on the player. You can get cheap media like Ritek that work great.
