How to tell cd writer model number?

My brother has a sony pcv-rx640 computer and I don't know if that writer is okay to use with Clone CD is there a way you can find out about the kind of writer they have installed other than trying Clone cd?

Maybe I should just call sony up.

have a look in Device Manager (right click My Computer, then properties)
