Unhappy MOH2 rip problem

I've just ripped my original copy MOH Frontline (PAL) using the rip kit from megagames. I managed to create both Iso's and burned then to cdr. However, none of the disks will boot at all. I noticed that the Iso's are both in Mode 1 and i know that Playstation games are in Mode 2 format. Is there a way of converting the iso's to mode 2.

PAL V4 PS2 Messiah modded, Pioneer A04, Mitsumi 4804TE.

Thanx

Ps. The ripped version is supposed to be for my cousin who has a Neo 4 chip and has lost his swap disk.

Its not a case of wot mode they're made in but rather what mode you burn them in. After you had the iso's, what software did you use to burn them? If you end up with two iso's then use nero. Don't use Nero wizard to burn them. Instead use normal nero and set to Mode 2/XA format, disable joliet, set to mode 1 character set and disable all iso9660 restrictions. You will then burn iso in iso9660 mode2/xa PS2 format.

You then got a proper PS2 disc.

Having said that, I have some home brew emulators which I burned in slightly different format ( Proper PS2 only allows 30 files per directory and I needed a lot more!!) and messiah chip booted it up okay sometimes ( depended whether it was in a good mood or not) but for proper PS2 stuff I think you have to be pretty strict about yr mode of cd.

Hope this helps..

Good luck............Regards!!

Right. go to the ISO tab of the non wizard bit of nero and that will give you all the burn options. Alternatively go to wizard, select CD, select data cd then cancel wizard and it defaults back to normal nero and go to ISO tab. This'll give u the options u crave!!

Welcome to ottomans house of pain!!

Good luck.........

Let us know how u get on.

I changed the options in the ISO tab, but i when burned the iso's they were still in Mode 1 and refused to boot. Basically i couldn't get nero to work and wasted five discs in the process. lol
