Pending On the machine and laser it varies..
For example Ver.1-3 does NOT READ +R's at all.. Some Ver.4 read +R's but not too many.. Ver.5 and up does all..Also exp on the media's.. Jsut b/c it works for some it doesn't necessary mean it will work on yours..But suggestion would be Verbatim, TDK or Fuji.. Or Perhaps Generics as well..
