Issue between Insektors and DVD Region Killer

Hi everyone. Hope someone can help out here - I've had ElbySoftware's DVD Region Killer installed for some time now, and it always worked great before. I recently installed Insektors, and found I didn't like it (I had long ago disabled my CloneCD tray and forgot about it - thus thinking I needed Insektors).. So after uninstalling and rebooting, I found that DVD Region Killer no longer works. It loads with the other startup progs and it's tray icon still appears, but it remains disabled, and the enable option is "grayed-out" - you can't enable it.. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it to the same effect. Anyone have a similar experience, or just know what might be causing the conflict? Thanks in advance.
