help burning ps 2 games

kinda newbie i have ps 2 v 7.got magic 3 chip installed it my self.i think i did it correctly made copys of ps 1 games every thing fine.the only way to play original ps2 games is to do the boot instuctered by the instructions.now the problem i have is when i try to boot copyed ps2 games the red screen shows up saying it is not a sony formated disk!!!!!i downloaded the demo for cdrwin 3.9b and everything seems fine with that.like i said back up ps1 games work fine.also i tryed to boot the ps2 games with the ps1 method .the red screen doesnt come on but the screen frezzeswith sony playstation copyright with some white bars beneth it. so i guess that method wont work.the game i tryed is top gun .i have dont have a dvd so i know i can only burn cd games .is there another method please help!
