which media?

i`ve backed up some ps2 games onto datasafe gold branded.1st one was the getaway this game would not load at all.2nd was tony hawks 4 this game would load to the 1st intro screen then would just stop.3rd game i done was medal of honor this game works but on certain levels it would stick.i've noticed on the back of these disks there are little marks(not on the surface like scratches)they look like these sections are not being written on by the writer(pioneer 104)also tried backing up die another day(dvd film) onto datasafe gold with the same results(pausing skipping etc)backed up same film to a traxdata and the film seems to be ok.does the verify really matter on primo.the first time i backed up die another day to traxdata but primo failed during verify and the film consequently skipped+ paused.

The verify process doesn't matter. You can choose not to do it or cancel it when it starts.
