Unhappy Prassi Primo

I have recently bought a dvd writer, it is a Vivastar. Santa has bought me a PS 2 with a Magic 3 chip in it, so i would like to copy a few games. I have been reading the forum and found that alot of people are using Primo software. I followed the useful page on how to copy a dvd using Primo but after I have created the .GI image file I got the message "Operation completed with errors", then when trying to write the image back to a dvd-r disc the program doesn't recognise there is a file there?? any ideas please, as i have wrecked loads of discs using nero 5.5.10, so any ideas on that would be good also, thanx
Have followed the tutorials, creating the image with my dvd rom and writer but still getting same error message.

BG is on a distinguished road
Thats the SAME tutorial that is at the top of this forum.

@ Bunky: Have you installed the latest PXEngine update for Primo? What speed are you trying to READ the games at? It could be that the original is scratched or damaged in some way. Try another game and read the game at a SLOW speed and see if it will create a good image...

Buy a dvd-rw, use it til you fix your prob., much cheaper than wasting good dvd-r's.

Try using Recordnow MAX. Go to www.stompinc.com and download the trial version. It works wonders!
