Archos DVD Writer DEx DVD RW2

Hello

I have got a DVD Writer, the one in the subkject line and im running Windows 2000 and when i have read the manual it says windows 2000 will have to drivers, so it found them.
But it still won't work.
When i go to the remove plug and play things it has a ! on the side of it, so i go to Properties and it says This device cannot start.

Any help?

Well i got rid of the error and it's saying it working ok, only problem now is it's not assigning a drive letter so no programs are seeing it as a DVD Writer or My Computer isn't even displaying it.

Any help
