saving games to hard drive
Just wondering how u can tell if a game can use the hard drive to save your progress to? Or can all the games do it?

?? What do you mean? Are you talking about emulator games, or normal xbox games?
As far as I know, all xbox games can save to the HDD. MS would be stupid if they let a company bring out a game that didn't save. (unless it's password coded, but that hasn't bean used since maybe the snes days.)

yeah normal xbox games
if all games can save to the hard drive whats the point of having a memory card?

Memory cards are good for 2 things.
1. You keep your saves private from others (in case you have brothers/sisters, and don't want them to mess up your saves.) 2. Make them portable. They make it so you don't have to lug your xbox around if you want to use your personal character (like in gauntlet legends or something). They can come in very handy.
