clonyXXL crashes under XP

Hi all,

I've tried (english) clonyXXL 2006 and 2010 under XP, but it keeps crashing...it will then reload without the ASPI layer (kinda like a safe mode), and works fine...but is limited in what it can do. If you quit and restart, it will try to load in regular mode, and crash again...cycle repeats. Works fine under 98 (I think I've also tried 98 Compatibility mode under XP, with no luck)....

Anyone else have this problem? I've installed Force ASPI, but that didn't help....

Suggestions?

Cheers,
Josh

I also have SP1, and I think I installed 4.71 and 4.72 apsi drivers, but it only copies like 3 files...I think u need 4...I didn't like the way they installed, so I used Force APSI to put 4.60 on. Apparently that's the best.

Anyway, I acutally don't like ClonyXXL anymore...it didn't detect my warcraft 3 protection very accurately (which it should have), so I'm using Alcohol and ppls backup guides now...

Got it the other day....

What is the best protection detection program? Is there one which "links" into Alcohol in the way ClonyXXL did to CCD?

Tried Force ASPI as per my original post. I've given up on clony...just going use a database to see what protection a game has...
