Mod Chip (help)

Hi! I am trying to find out if there is a Mod Chip that you can plug in and out , so i can play rentals too.Someone told me that you can not play originals games with a Mod Chip. Please help.... I want to make sure I buy the right one.Please help Christmas is coming!

Import originals require an internally built in modchip. The external modchips are only good for CD backups and then not all.

a modchip inside doesnt affect origanals playing

I can believe that! The amount of people that blame mod chips for their psx 'blowing up' is amazing. If you want advice, ask someone that knows, not a bloke next to you at the bar!

I took 4 psx's back to Comet within the 12 months warranty because they were faulty. The fifth I got chipped on a market stall & it still works 5 years later.

You won't hear me trying to claim that the mod-chip increased the life of my machine!

Sorry if I don't understand, but is there a Mod Chip you can plug in and out?

yes but you need to install 1 wire. also you need a gs2. I is called the Neo Key you can get it from www.consolesource.com
