AR2 code help

Ive been using AR2 V2 on my messiah(original) modded ps2.

I have a problem,in that once I select codes, try to start with codes, tray opens put new disc in, but just seems to click and I hear the cd spin up and down in revs a few times then just nothing.......blank screen.

I was trying DMC and FFX both dvd backups, but also tried the originals....no joy. Originals and backups boot ok on own without AR2.

Can anyone throw any light on this please??

Also putting codes in......do you put the 8 fig codes in row after row, and ignore the seperate 4 '0' s at the end. Is it possibly my codes are not in correctly? I doubt it as i tried to start game without codes, no joy. Seems just doesnt want to load after AR2 been in.

Any help much appreciated

I have slight problem sometimes whereby I insert original/backup and press X, then nothing happens.

What I do (it seems to work for me) is after you select to play game and it tells you to swap discs, once the original/backup is in wait for it to make the first read noise (listen closely you will hear it) then press X straight away. Also make sure that the (M) code has been selected for the game on the cheat list.

Just input the codes as they are, each row contains 2 lots of 8 characters, inputting the full line will move down to the following line straight after.

Didnt know bout the 'm' code.

put them in but still the same, also tried waiting to press x till disc spins up, no joy.

I'm still sceptical as to way I'm putting the codes in.

In my user section when adding codes it doesnt automatically go to next line. I get a line of 8 and 4.

ie 00000000 0000

and if I try to put the second lot of 8 on same line after I'm past the 4th character it starts to write over the existing 4.

So I put in 8, then ignored the last 4, and put next 8 in on next line.

Does this sound right to you

ok, I checked this evening and my AR2 definately has 2 lots of 8 characters per line
dont really know what to suggest
you could try looking on www.datel.com or www.codejunkies.com to find a contact support telephone number
