....oke....first i have to say: NERO is i think prety shitty to make backups of games.....i never make a working backup with NERO couse this programm cant read well like other programms. you need a programm which can read subchannels.cdrwin is a programm like this.but you can read only audiosubchannels.......this is shitty for games without audiosc.couse the backup wont work.....mostly.....but it works great on games like call to power2 couse this game got "only" asc......lol......so you have to use clonecd.....this programm can read datatrackschannel and audiosc......which allowed to make backups of every(yeah....not every but the most...you-know-sayn?) game.........

Smart is quite right mate, but there is another point to CDRWin. If you are copying PSX games, then use CDRWin as the .bin files it creates are the main patchable image file used. i.e. some games will require a patch as they have MOD chip detection routines. It is just as quick as CloneCD and most burners are compatible with it.
If you burner is Clone compatible then USE it!! It'll copy most games using any protection, except Safedisc 2 (this is reported to use "weak" sectors which is more media dependant than hardware. i.e. CDR's can't reproduce the original with most burners).
As for NERO, it's great for MP3 and audio copying, but not that good for games/software.
