DC Selfboot Files at go.to/Selfboot

hey all

i've been out of the DC scene for a little while, but now i'm testing the waters again, andi was hoping someone out there knew why go.to/selfboot is closed, and if there was a mirror of it somewhere....particularly for the individual game FAQs and selfboot kits.

I problem was making Ecco the Dolphin selfboot, and go.to/selfboot was the only place that could tell me how to do it right. I now have a lot of games i want to try to make selfboot again, and i would rather not have a lot of coasters, as i did with Ecco the first few times around

any help would be appreciated

thank you

I'm not sure, but I think there's a patch on DC Copy World. You should get instructions here.
I managed to get all my games selfboot except "Perpetual Blue". If you find something for this one...

go.to/selfboot found

i found an archive of the site on another board, so i now have it.

i was looking to selfboot my copy of Silver, but the cd-rom drive can't find any of the files nessescery. I was also looking for a version of Dave Mirra that has a working in-game music select, and possibly a version of D2 and any Bleemcast copy that actually works.

You dont have to download Dave Mirra ISO again: use your old one, just get the Dave Mirra Patch/Fix from megagames website. It was pretty easy I just followed echelon's selfboot method and it worked. Finally I can change the music manually. There are still some bugs, but no doubt its better than before.

P.S. With Dave Mirra- probably every other game with CDDA you can replace the original wav's with your own songs
Of course the ingame menu will still show the original song names, but as long as it works its fine by me.

hi AMurderOfCrows

if you have a complete copy of
goto/selfboot
than get webspace, for eg on
angelfire.com and give it to the public!

I don't feel i can put the site up....the site was someone else's creation, and i wouldn't feel right about putting it there without thier permission. 1 also don't have the time to redo the site so that the information stays intact yet the layout and wording are my own. lastly, i don't have the webspace to put it up.

i will gladly email a link to the zip file of the site to anyone who asks, however.

[email protected]

remove the "nospam" from the addy when you write to me for a request.

credit for the zip file must go out to a member of another forum, who's name i forgot
