Blank screen

Just need a little advise. Have one Playstation with a Mod chip. Worked great for so long. Went to turn it on and now only get a blank screen. The disk spins but no action. No boot up or anything. Tried to use original game and not backup and still no good. Tried to out a new reader from a PS One and same results. Checked the chip for any loose wires and all is in tact. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
