ZZxZZ directory on a CD, what protection is used ?

Having trouble making a safe copy of "globetrotter" which is a game from a nordic company. The CD contains a directory called ZZXZZ, and I believe that this is the one making trouble...
Anyone knows what protection is used when this directory is placed on the CD ?
