Question about making dvds need help please?

Hello:
Is there a way to take a movie that is in avi or divix format and copy it with a dvd- tdk burner and play it on a dvd player Thanks for any help.

You have to reencode the avi or divx file with tmpeg or cinemacraft encoder to an dvd compilant format than you can burn it with nero or somthing else as a dvd.
