What is the best/cheapest way to play a backup of a PS2 game?

What is the best/cheapest way to play a backup of a PS2 game?

Is there a good way without a modchip?

Or If I mus get a mod-chip which is the best and easiest and most economical one to get?

Thanks, Josh

There are no good ways without a chip. Your best choices are: Messiah 2, Magic 3, Messiah, Magic 2, or Apple. I personally have an Apple and have had no problems what so ever.

yes it is quite complicated if you have never soldered before.

the best modchip to get would be a direct-boot chip such as the Messiah, in the long run this is by far a better option over a cheap and nasty swap mod.

reliable source for US would be www.freedomlives.com
