backup problems

Hello!!!

I have a V 4 with a Neo 2.2.
Now some of my backups do not work anymore. Like 007 freezes after entering the car on the second mission or Headhunter when getting on the bike.
The copies that use more than 1 CD cause difficulties too.

Originals and copies on just 1 CD as well as PSX copies and originals work fine.
Do you have any suggestions what to do?
I am now thinking to get a Messiah into my PS2

the neo2.2 most likely killing your laser
i get new laser before messiah or better still new ps2
does the neo have a capacitor fitted?

what's a better or worse ps2? my laser just went out on mine. i have a scph-3001. got it like the 2nd month they came out in the u.s.

You most likely have a v1 or v2. If thats the case then you may as well get a new PS2 because i dont know of anyone that sells the lasers.
