Red face nero 5.5 copy from more than one disc and organise into folders on one disc

I have some files (not entire discs) that are stored on three seperate cds and a friend wants me to copy them onto one cd for him. I'd like to organise those files into folders of my own layout design on the one disc. But how do I do this using nero 5.5?

Right click in the pane containing the new cd structure (usaully the left pane) and click create new folder. Name the folder, then you're ready.

It's not that simple. I have to create an image file first I think from each of the cds, then burn the image files back to the new compilation. Nero wont allow me to drag and drop the 3 images because it just burns the image "image1.nrg" "image2.nrg" "image3.nrg" back to the destination cd i.e the images are not converted back to files.

If I right click from the left pane and choose open file>image.nrg - nero begins burning straight away meanwhile I still have 2 more images to burn back.

Sure I'll try that, but I didn't think you could just cut and paste files from cd to hard drive that easily. What about force raw reading, unreadable data continue copying etc... I tried this with Windows 98 and it didn't work until I used options in nero and copied to image. Now I'm doing tmpgenc, premiere 6.5 and photoshop.

Okay so I cut and pasted from cd to HD and then used nero to burn. But, Adobe Premiere setup file wont install the software. I have to use the nero settings to read to the HD properly, but impossible to do this from multiple sources as outlined above.

what exactly are you trying to do - i think is the question. first its copy files. now its copy programs. plz get facts straight. only thing i can telll you is to use clone cd, create .img's of each cd, and then burn the .img's as FILES. then ur friend will have to use daemon tools or alcohol or soemthing to load each separate img file as he needs. otherwise, you CANNOT maintain the original structure of the cd...

Pls take a look at the problem definition:

1:
Scenario

I have 2 cds with things I'd like to copy cd A and cd B.

contents of cd A:

Three folders containing either files or programs. Only one folder is required to be copied. This folder contains Photoshop.

contents of cd B:

Adobe Premiere 6.5. That is all.

2:
Required outcome

2.a Burn Photoshop from cd A onto brand new cd C .
2.b Burn Adobe Premiere from cd B onto C as well.

A further possibility is to burn other files and or programs from other discs that I have.

It would be good to organise these desired files/programs into an organised structure on the new cd C

That is all.

I found my problem and solution.

The autoplay program for Premiere points to a setup.exe in the \premiere directory. So that means when I run autoplay, it is looking for

\premiere\setup.exe instead of

\premiere6.5\premiere\setup.exe
