Messiah, Messiah 2 and Magic 2
Newbie to this chipping lark, Did my first messiah a couple of weeks ago and now the "Magic 2" is being advertised at the same price. Now I have found references to a "messiah 2" chip is this the same as the "Magic 2"? if not! Then to what versions is it compatable, Best place and rough idea of price please if poss? Also struggling with the best way to create backup DVDs (PS2 of course) Got GTA3 PAL Original but can't seem to get the PS2 to recognise a backup disc. I am about to try Primo DVD if I can get the s/w download, Any specific version I need?

Messiah 2 is not the same as Magic 2 but it is compatible with v7.

The Messiah 2 is compatible with "almost" EVERY version of the PS2....
Contact Charlie_PS2 or Dust2Dust through their profile for Messiah 2 prices.... The Original Messiah and the Magic 2 are outdated now.... The Messiah 2 and the Magic 3 will take their place in the next couple of weeks.... DEFINATELY use Primo to backup your dvds and follow the tutorial at the top of the PS2 forum page....
