problem with Timesplitters 2

i made a copy of timesplitters 2 and it turned out to be 4.696Gb.
i don't have a original game that big so i can't boot it up.

there is a trailer for the new tomb raider which takes up about 150mb.
whould i be able to get rid of this trailer and burn the smaller version of the game to dvd-r.

(2)when i check the size of the timesplitters 2 disc it says 4.696Gb
but when i select all the files on the disc and check the size it, it says 1.350Gb

is this a bug on the disc or am i doing some stupid

So what you are saying is you downloaded the game and dont own the original right???

I think he is saying that he doesnt have a large enough TOC disc to boot the backup.

@the_head,

Timesplitters 2 has a "Fake TOC" that is why you only have 1.350Gb. The game itself is only that size. The rest is just fluff pretending to be real files. Sort of like hidden dummy files.

I recommend using DMC Demo it is still the largest game and still barely beats Timesplitters 2. It will boot it, I have tested this myself.

is it possable to burn the game without these hidden dummie files.

whould you be able to copy the 1.350Gb of data to the hard drive and then use cd/dvd generator to make a image file. Whould this work?

From what I understand it is possible. I will do some checking. A new friend of mine seems to be able to do that with ease.

i hope they don't start doing large TOC on every game because i only have a crap R-Mod chip and the biggest game i have is metal gear solid 2

does anybody know of a mag that has a demo disc with a large TOC?

You may get lucky and get a DMC demo from ebay pretty cheap.

Yeah he said something about using a different version of iml2iso to handle larger files. I still have to get more info from him
