win98 and dvd backups
Hi,
You can very easily do this with win98! Just learn how to use dvd2svcd for dvd backups. you can find a link to download and instructions, etc at www.doom9.org dvd2svcd lets you encode to dvd format as well as svcd! you'll end up re-encoding the dvd movie in a lower bitrate so that the new mpg2 dvd file will be just under the FAT32 file size of 4gig AND this way it will easily fit onto any dvd-r blank! The bitrate will be around 4000-4500 vs. 6000-7000 on the original. this won't matter since svcds are only a max bitrate of 2520 and you can't even tell it's not the original at that bitrate! 4500 bitrate is dvd quality to the naked eye. good luck and email me offline if you need any more help. masterpug fordmj**********com |
