Usually someone replies to my threads quite quickly but i still haven't had any answers to any where abouts for PROJECT NOMADS NOCD EXE or EMPEROR-RISE...NOCD EXE. plz plz can anyone help as in about an hour im off to my m8's to multi but won't be able to play project nomads

i am really eager to learn how to overcome th securom new version, if anyone who knows what to do can help by passing their knowledge to me i would be REALLY greatful, private message me if you are feeling charitable enough to pass on the knowledge of all things nice plz.

It cannot be cloned 1:1 just yet. Although there is good news in that someone has actually cloned it using the twin sectors theory. He has posted the source code so hopefully someone will incorporate into a workable program to copy Securom New 4.8

I've got a fixe exe for Emperor if you want that... I don't think there's a no-cd out yet. Better solution is to use clonecd and daemon tools to mount an image you make on the hard disk. Sure this takes up 700Mb of hard disk space, but it does allow you to play almost anything from the hard disk, with a fixed exe if needed. I just did this with my bf1942 original, so it definitely works with safedisc 2.

Of course it will work if you use a fixed .exe. Theres no protection to stop you then, is there?

If you really want to play everything by image use Alcohol. It can even make working images of SecuROM v4.8.

I'm assuming you DO know the difference between a fixed exe and a no cd right ? With a fixed exe, there's still a simple cd check that requires the cd to be in the drive. He was asking specifically for a no cd to play without the cd in the drive.

When I only have a fixed exe and I want to play without the cd, I make a quick image with clonecd or nero and mount that. With safedisc 2 I can just make a clonecd image using the fast error dump feature (or else it would be really slow) of daemon tools and it wil work without a crack as long as I use daemon tools. I did this with bf1942. I made a clonecd image and mounted that. I've also got Emperor Rise Of The Middle Kingdom with the latest and greatest in Securom and there I both used a fixed exe I've got and a quick image I made with nero and mounted with Daemon Tools. This last image isn't exact, it's just there for the cd check that's still in the fixed exe.

And yes I know about Alcohol but I rather use Daemon Tools.

You dont necessarily have to make an image if you use a fixed .exe. You can also just insert a nonperfect backup CD.

However, if you have a perfect image on your hd you dont even need a fixed .exe since it will work just like a 1:1 copy. That is if they havent blacklisted your version of daemon/alcohol yet.

That's true, but the original question was how to play WITHOUT any cd in the drive and I just explained how I did it with daemon tools. There are a lot of people here everyday asking for nocd cracks because they want to play without the cd, and in many cases there's only a fixed exe they can use.

I hope that CGS can help you out, otherwise the only way you're going to play ROTMK without the cd is by mounting an image.

And does anyone know what the deal is with the ROTMK cracks ? MegaGames used to host the fixed exe but that mysteriously disappeared. Anyone know why ? I'm still sending out the fixed exe to people who pm me for it, since I can't refer them to any site I know that has the crack.
