Nero and VCD

I have the newest version of Nero and am having problems with making a VCD. I put an MPEG and an AVI file to be burned and it encodes the AVI but stops right after and refuses to burn the CD. I have a older burner it is a HP 7200. Besides that my system is fine and I have no problems burning other things.

Anyone have any solutions?

I have no problems at all if I keep the format the same. I found that Nero does conversion of mpeg very well so I usually convert the avi to mpeg before Using Nero.
