New to this and need some help

Right, so I think I have got this right.

I connect my XBox to my PC using a network cable e.g. cat5 in to my hub system.

Do I have to have the XBOX chipped to let me see it?
If so will this be the right chip?
http://www.mod-chip.com/xboxselect.htm

So when I have done all of that I then need to set up an ftp link with the XBox. Then just copy the files over making and image and then burn the dvd.

Is that all right?
Also does anyone have any suggestions on a good dvd burning program?

You do need a modchip, and that x-ecutor is what I recommend, unless you know how to flash bios. If you do, then i suggest the xodus modchip. It's the best on the market right now.

that is correct, but you need to set up the evolutionX dashboard first.

Everyone seems to use PrimoDVD. That is probably the best one to use.
