Large CD backups with mod chip

Do I need to patch games I burn on 790 MB cds if I have a modchip installed? (1st gen AR2 disk swap chip)
If so, what patch?

ur gonna b busy m8 - loads of patched games around already, tis easier to buy them patched (all you need is some1 like me that can supply em lol)

Didn't need to patch anything. I'd read about a patch for large CD sizes (the PS2 supposedly has a disk capacity limit), but the mod must alrerady take care of it. I can get copies of any game here too, but why should I pay $3 for a backup I can do myself for 6 cents. Don't have DVD recorder now though, so I have to buy some that won't fit on CDRs. Rock on!
