Grandia 2

I was looking for a Grandia 2 fix, but the one on megagames is only for owners of nexus memory card. Is there any other way i can fix it, since the game always freezes somewhere in the middle of a fight with Millenia (correct me if i'm wrong, but its been months since the last time i played the game)...
I still have the old Echelon non self-boot release (CD1) and CD2 that i have is the new Grandia 2 Repack (selfboot)
I even tried the CD2 but when i enter the village the game starts loading then stops and it shows a black screen ...
Any suggestions?, tnx
