"Failed to get disc info. Is disc empty?

Im using ClonCD trying to burn pc games, which i have done before. For some reason its saying "faild to get disc info. Is disc empty?" and I am using bran new imation CD-R's...THERES NOTHING ON THEM, but i still get that shit. can someone help?

1) what clonecd version do u have?

2) what cdr do u have?

3) can other proggies write on the disc / recognize it as empty?
