Gameboy Advance Brightness

Is there anyway to increase the brightness of my Gameboy Advance? My screen is so dark. Is the Gameboy Advance screen supposed to be this dark? I bought a new one from Circuit City so it shouldn't be broken right? Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

you couild buy and accessory..the one thats best is the one that give light from both sides...
