I'm sorry for reporting a post to you, but when i did that i though that it was for a private message!

I hope that you don't get hungry with that and thanx for the help, i'll buy the cleanning disc tomorrow. But just one more question: Tis disc is for cleanning dvd readers or cd-r's readers, because i think that i saw these two kinds!

LOL! Its no biggie. I try to respond immediately to any reported posts just to keep the PS2 forums clean from them.

If you are having problems with cd media then use the cd cleaner.

If you are having problems with dvd media the use the dvd cleaner.

Dare I argue with another mod. The lens is the lens so the CD cleaner will do fine.

in fact the DVD cleaner usually has a movie that you have to watch first to select the language for the progress display! Not much use if the lens needs cleaning and won't play DVDs!!

Im glad you dared because every once in a while Im a bit off.

You are right all you need is one cleaner. I personally only have a cd lens cleaner and thats all I use.

I dont think anyone understood what I meant by that. And really I dont feel like going into it. But I have (and still do) rip my own:

obviously u not going to go into it
playing movie DOES NOT REMOVE THE PROTECTION
playing the movie AUTHENTICITATE THE DRIVE ONLY ,allowing dvddecrypter,smart ripper or similar to copy and remove the proection
the film needs to b played for 10 secs only
not whole film as u said
and if u use new decypter such as i do it auto authenticitate so no need to play the dvd at all

so please go ahead i like to know your way
