rip a bin image of it using cdr win and i believe you need to have a patch to make the copy boot

although i think you need a stealth chip to make it work anyway

as for the patch i think there is one on megagames

for people dont no how to burn a protected copy just shut up it kinda boring to reed poor reply like this

u neec clone cd +(important)clonexxl that gone a scan the protected cd and find the best way to burn or do a image file + it s work whit clone cd they are compatible

but for ff9 u need a patch so caled a ".PPF" for that u gone a need "ppf o matique" its the patcher

so do the image file whit clonexxl patch it whit ppf o matique and burn it easy and alaways working

but if the disk is scratched then clonecd will not copy it properly!!
and clonyxxl is crap for psx games as it always tells u it's libcrypt protected even if it's not!!

dear dJgarf if clone xxl dont work on your psx game maybe u dint use it properly
or maybe u got a to old vertion (they update it offten)

it always work for me

for the scratch if the cd is styll play in is play station the cd styll can be burn (most of the time)

im sure u see how many scrach u can have on a rent cd...
i made it throug some very bad and damage cd ... offten whit cdrWin or nero
clic on "skip error" and the jobs done
most of the time...

i trust my memory enough not to use programs like clonyxxl,i have clonecd already set up to copy all the different copy protections anyway!!
out of curisoty i just tried the latest clonyxxl and it is still the same,it detects libcrypt protection on games with no protection at all!!

dint notice that part wen i reed u first

libcrypt its not a protection it simply tel u there is a psx cd in your drive!!!!
every psx game witout a protection gone a be reconise like that!!!

and gone a put the burnig option to have the best copy for a psx

so wats that means is your clonexxl works perfect...u have a default(just a joke no insult)

u most be french or something to do that mistake !!! (styll dont see insult im french miself)

libcrypt is a copy protection for psx but it is not on that many games so when clonyxxl detects libcrypt all it is detecting is that it is a psx cd and gives u the same options every time but u only need to read and write the sub channel data on libcrypt protected games, any other psx game u do not need the sub channel data!!

u was right about clonxxl im a dumm ass

but even so wen there a protection insted of libscript clonxxl alway find it and put the good option

maybe for psx protection or not clonxxl put this default burn option because is the best and safest way to burn a working psx
