gameshark 2 V2 problems

I have a gameshark 2 V2 with the no solder mod-chip and I can't get my back-ups to work. I have tried several methods but the instructions always suck.







Can Anyone help dagited1

What exactly are you having problems understanding?? When you press and hold eject the tray should eject for about 5 seconds then close by itself, if it doesnt do this then the mod isnt installed correctly or you have a damaged mod. If this works then do a search on my screen name, i have posted the boot methods for this mod several times in the past. It shouldnt be too hard to find.

I beleive this is the post NightStalker is talking about......

Load GS2, Once it completely loads press eject and swap with a original dvd game.(i use DMC demo). Wait about 30 sec and select gameshark codes, choose any game and turn on or off any code. Then press start, select with codes and press x to load game, you will see a black screen that says updating codes please wait. Immediately do the r-mod swap by pressing and holding eject until the tray ejects, swap the original dvd game with the dvd-r backup, the tray will close after 5 sec and the backup will load.

Does the size of the table of contents matter on the original dvd

YES... It has to be larger than the backup you are trying to play.
