How do I play imports or backup copy?

I have a ntsc j model scph18000 ps2 and I can't play import ntsc u/c copy with the action replay 2! could anybody help me?

Your PS2 needs to be chipped and you need to boot the backups the correct way look at http://www.sgt-dan.com for boot methods.
