Question Streetfighter Alpha 3 - Jumping Screen

hi,

i have a problem with sfa3, the game is booting, and i can play, too.

But on my tv the game jumps up and down like an rabbit !! is this an ntsc problem ?

I use a pal dreamcast connected to tv via av scart, i also sometimes use an rgb scart but sfa 3 has an pal rgb scart protection but i cant use the patch from the crack section because i didnt have the original sized release iso ...

I opened the image with cdmage and it shows me only one session, but i thought correct selfbootable cds must have two ???

Is there any patcher or way to solve my jumping screen problem ???

Thx and sorry for my bad english

edit: to better understand: the screen ist not flickering or so it only makes little jumps !!! and i also converted the .nrg image to a .bin but i cant use the patch because of the wrong filesize the image has !

Try this :
1) make an image of your CD using DiskJuggler
2) open your image with an hex editor (like Hedit for example)
3) look for "9D FF 04 8D 00 EE 03"
4) replace it by "9D FF 04 8D 00 EE 02"
5) save and burn this image

Tell me if it works.

Strange, I just tried fix Megalexxx posted with my copy of SFA 3
& it now works fine with my Scart lead.
my copy is a re-pack which is self booting, It would only work with an RF cable, but as I said works with Scart now.

Cheers Megalexxx

Not me this game is killing me ., yeah it took me like 2 yrs to find it and i got it for dc , but the huge deal is now i need to patch it to work with a scart, the onlything is this game just doesnt wanna work anymore ,let me rephrase we did the dcto jamma thing , sfalpha 3 would work great on my dreamcast but on the dc we jammaed it would just reset after sega screen over and over, after alot of trouble trying to hack it up to work i never could , so then i found out about the pal fix, cant do it since my alpha 3 was in nrg and some anus soofbooted it in the weirdest way . so i finally get a hold of kal-sfa3 . great! . turns out some dude cdi'd his selfbooted kalisto rip . so i can patch it either , despite trying to do the hex thing , the game will only boot and reboot over and over on my dreamcast , i just dont understand it . im gonna burn the cdi without patching and if it loads great. but megalexx if your listening , will your auto pal fix prog work on this thing? im using an ntsc dreamcast . and it would mean alot to my bro if we could get this game running on his jamma hookup , the original worked with a soldered wires in the dc but we've done away with it and will now be using scarts .

thanx loads .
