Clone CD problems

Hello all, I have a lite-on CDRW using firware version LS31. According to Clone CD's website this drive is OK. I cannot seem to make any readable backups. The software burns reporting no errors or problems but when it is over the CD is unreadable by any CD drive. I am using this drive to both read then write. Any ideas? I even tried Clony to set the settings, no luck.
