DVD output to TV HELP!!!!

Question: How do you get computer DVD player to display on TV?

Ok, I have a Gateway Solo laptop model 5300 with an S3 video card built in and composite NTSC video out and WINDVD software on the laptop. When I display the screen on a TV it scrambles while it's playing a DVD movie.

I've been told that I need some kind of macrovision remover but I'm unsure which program I need to run and how. I've #####ed cdmediaworld for their utilities but there are so many listed and I just need a utility that will easily strip off whatever it is that is prenting me from using this laptop as a DVD player to my TV.

Any suggestions? any help/advice is appreciated.

Hi.maby u need mpeg2 software decoder(if this is not in u'r s3 card).And if possible use s-video out combined with composit.(And try #####ing u'r tv settings in the s3 software(guess you have tried it already).
Do you now where to get macrovision remover? can you mail it to me? Or send me the url?
