PS2 No-Solder Mod Chip V5/V6 ?
i have a v5 ps2 ntsc with an acekey.
i was wondering if by adding a PS2 No-Solder Mod Chip V5/V6 will there be any conflicts by having both at the same time and unlike the acekey can the PS2 No-Solder Mod Chip V5/V6 play cds over 74 minutes?

No solders don't play over 700 mb CDs but there are swap tricks to get around that - depends on the version of gameshark 2 you have for the method of booting.
I have a PS2 version 5 with no solder and can play all CD-R, DVD-R without a problem, it just requires some disk swapping which is no big deal.

What is the swaptrick i have also a v5 and a AR 1.9 what kind of swaptrick do you use besides the one with the AR

This is a direct copy and paste from one of the GURU's on this subject.
Nightstalker posted: Load GS2, Once it completely loads press eject and swap with a original dvd game.(i use DMC demo). Wait about 30 sec and select gameshark codes, choose any game and turn on or off any code. Then press start, select with codes and press x to load game, you will see a black screen that says updating codes please wait. Immediately do the r-mod swap by pressing and holding eject until the tray ejects, swap the original dvd game with the dvd-r backup, the tray will close after 5 sec and the backup will load. Maybe this will help you guys out....

So this is only for the dvdr's is there also something for the cdr's?
its strange that i can boot a selfmade boot disk with the original demo cd by gamemenu fifa press x and swap with my bootcd and it will boot dvd regionx wich is a cdr copie
