xbox dvd-rom on the pc?

can you take the xbox dvd drive out of the xbox and put it in the pc and copy games with it and can i put my pc's dvd drive in the xbox to play backups

If you put the xbox dvd-rom in the PC, you'll need to do more that that to copy games. And yes, you can put in a new dvd drive in the xbox to play back-ups, but you still need a mod-chip to play them.
